About Scott and Courtney from Dynamic Pipeworks

DP_layers & digger arm-02.png

Scott started his career with a small civil company in 2010, a preferred subcontractor for Fletchers and Fulton Hogan. As a young labourer, Scott helped the digger operators, learning the trade and was lucky enough to work on some of the biggest infrastructure projects across Auckland, including the Waterview Tunnel, a great training ground.

It was whilst working on the Albany Highway upgrade and MHX Kirkbride in 2014, when Scott met Courtney, back then she was studying to be a Nurse.

A friend of Scott’s suggested he gets into drainlaying, He said “drainlayers make better digger operators and earn good money”. That was all the convincing Scott needed with an immediate change of direction in his career, this move was a good one and sparked a love for drainlaying.
After four years with this small civil company, Scott had the opportunity to further his training and experience by working in a residential drainage company.  Continuing to work on Auckland Infrastructure upgrading the public networks and  installing the new Private Drainage, Retaining walls and Driveways on Housing New Zealand projects.

Courtney was now working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Theatres.

Scott had the bug, after two years with the residential company he was keen to keep progressing and further his career, this meant a move to a bigger company, performing many varied fields. While here Scott worked on some major projects across Auckland – such as NX2 Motorway and the Hunua 4 Pipeline to Housing New Zealand sites. In 2019, while working with this tier one company, Scott gained his Certifying Drainlayers Licence. Toward the end of 2020, Scott & Courtney purchased their first home in Warkworth. Courtney also shifted direction in her career by moving to a private company that offers GP and A&E services.  Scott has always dreamed of being an owner/operator of a company, he has always looked for ways to streamline processes and find efficiencies in all civil works, this came to fruition when Dynamic Pipeworks was started in May 2021. Courtney continued Nursing until Dynamic Pipeworks needs an administrator.

Now that you know all about the crew, we’re looking forward to getting to know and help you!
